A few weeks ago I was using my computer online and my computer caught a virus. Luckily my free antivirus program stopped the virus less than a second after it got in. My antivirus program sounds a very loud alarm and a rather large window appears on the screen warning me about the virus and asking me what I wanted to do with the virus file. Antivirus software protects your computer against most viruses, worms, Trojan horses, and other unwanted invaders that can make your computer "sick." Viruses, worms, and the like often perform malicious acts, such as deleting files, accessing personal data, or using your computer to attack other computers. Viruses may also slow down your computer. What did I do? Here is what I did:
- I immediately instructed the program to delete the virus file
- I could also have instructed it to send it to quarantine (a form of electronic "jail" for virus files). This is completely safe
- You can imagine the relief I felt thanks to my free antivirus program Avast.
- If I had not installed it, the virus would have infected my computer undetected!
I use Avast... It is free and it updates itself a few times a day. Please share with us on this blog:

One time my friend haved a virus and then he tock it out because they teach him computer classes but it was because he was play a game.

ReplyDeleteWell I use Norton for a anti virus spyware. Before I got Norton and I was always doing stuff on my computer a virus took over my computer and it was going very slow.
ReplyDeleteSo I have a computer at home well I use to . ( Scary Music). It wasn't just a computer he was a friend , a companion when you were bored a source of entertainment.There was a monster name Trojan Horse. He galloped his way into my poor computers life as a free laptop. Oh poor Sebastian ( that's the computer) he was so happy. Then boom Trojan horse attacked.Every time we opened a tab it would closed unexpectedly within minutes . The internet will not work for a number of days. Sebastian fault on until he couldn't take it anymore and he died.=( Everyday I look at poor Sebastian and think what would have been if we had Virus Protection![sigh] Thank you and please hold the applause.

ReplyDeleteone day i went to my friend house and i ask to use her computer.When i use her computer it was acing funny , then something came up t was a warming of a virus.I told my friend and she clean the computer taking out all da virus by using her antivirus program.
ReplyDeleteOne dayy I went to Lime Wire and there's was a virus on it so while I was downloading the music to itunes I notice that a virus got on my internet and I couldn't get on the internet at all so I told ma father and the next dayy I don't know how he fixed but he fixed and I was happy and I didn't ask him how he did it!!

Then i went to take it to my mom to show her then she told me i had a virus and i as so mad because how was i going to get on the internet. So i had to take it to the store for them to fix it . It took a very long time to get fix i was highly upset..
ReplyDelete1 day i was home and me and my friend tiffany was on my computer.We wanted to download itunes so we did it then all of suddent on my com puter screen lines start to come and all types of pop ups and we didnt know what to do so we shut the computer down and turned it back on and it was a pop up about a viroes so we just exited out and kept on doing what we was doing then the computer was going very slow.So we cut it off and left it alone and my dad took it to go get fixxed.
ReplyDeleteI remember when my computer was acting up because it caught a viruses. I didn't know what to do and plus my mommy didn't know how to fix it. So my mom got a Antivirus program and luckily it stop the viruses so now my moms can block the viruses from coming onto my computer.

One day my mom used m laptop and the next day it kept freezing then it would shut off. but then my brother would have weeks trying to fix it because he goes to collage to study computers but after a month he fixed it and now it is fixed.
ReplyDeleteone time in my moms computer my dads cusin came and cliked a whole bunch of adds and soon the computer was taking soooo long to get to something we wanted to do on the computer but the more things we clicked the more slower it got.

Once I was play games on my Hp computer and i loved the game so much that i downloaded the game 20 times. once i downloaded the game, my computer crashed and said all this information on what i downloaded. i had to use a disc to put all the downloaded stuff and my computer worked again and it said "do you want to copy the downloaded games,material". And i put cancel and stopped downloading again and i used anti-virises on my laptop for a long time. this is why i use anti-virises for my laptop.

ReplyDeleteI got virus from downloading so much stuff. One day i turn on my computer and my computer an my computer screen turn blue and it say that the disc was dis-enable so i run a c.d in it and it got fix.....

ReplyDeleteI think this is a good way to sell things because you can earn money and sell what you don't want anymore. A flyer is also a good way to tell people about what you sell because if you had a old laptop I will sell it and tell people by a flyer. I think what you wrote on your blog was awesome ^.^ :)
ReplyDeleteI agree with Mr.Goldsmith because theres many things that take up space in a house . Also i have a old computer in my house and i dont use it . I would like to make a flyer and hang it up all over the neighborhood for me to sell my old computer and other things i dont use.
